🐹Big news in Mrs. Avram's kindergarten class! Thanks to a Pets in the Classroom grant, our kindergarten students now have a classroom hamster. This special grant allowed us to welcome Mr. Fred Fluffy Face to our class, giving students a hands-on way to learn about responsibility, care, routines, and meeting the needs of a living thing. From gentle handling to daily care, our kinders are learning kindness, empathy, and teamwork every day. Our new furry friend loves veggies from the kitchen, being read to, and playing, which makes him a perfect fit for our sweet classroom. We can’t wait to watch these lessons grow alongside our new furry friend! 🐹

Awesome opportunity for all AGS students 2nd- 6th grade who want to work on their basketball skills. 🏀

One of Bay City’s community partners has asked that we help spread the word about a great family event coming up in February. Attached is the flyer with more information.

AGS is closed Tuesday, January 6, 2026 due to icy road conditions. Stay safe and we will give it a try again tomorrow. #WolverinesLead #PoweredByPurpose

The basketball games scheduled for tonight at home vs. Alcona will be played as scheduled: JV Boys tip off at 5, with Varsity Boys playing second, and Varsity Girls playing third. #WolverinesLead

AGS is closed on Monday, January 5, 2026 due to inclement weather. A decision about tonight's sporting events will be made and posted to the district website by 1pm today.

Sims and the kitchen crew would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Off we go into Winter Break. Before you leave for the festive fun, check out the Weekly Wolverine Update one more time for 2025. https://app.smore.com/n/ndgktv #WolverinesLead #PoweredByPurpose
