Mrs. Avram enjoyed the Thanksgiving feast with her Kindergarteners today! We are so thankful for all the "heart" work from Ms. Sherry and kitchen crew! 🦃🥧

We started our day with a pancake bar they choose the toppings they wanted and then enjoyed what they chose.

Thanksgiving dinner for the kids. Lots of work but oh so worth it. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from your Au Gres Sims kitchen crew.

Several days have passed since environmental science students took samples of the filtered water from their water filter build projects(see previous post). They noticed their "filtered" water was not quite as clean as one might think. Look at all of the bacteria and mold colonies growing on the potato agar plates!

Biology students played a game of "spoons" to practice their knowledge of biological macromolecules like proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids.

Environmental science students prepared native Michigan plant seeds for cold stratification today. This process simulates the freezing and thawing process that naturally occurs during winter, only we're using a refrigerator so that we can begin growing plants in February!

The GSRP Preschool Class and their families created a beautiful Thankful Turkey! Each feather is filled with the wonderful things they are thankful for!

Jostens is having a Black Friday Sale on class rings!

Small is mighty and Rural means close knit. This morning the AGS Senior Band showcased these qualities, performing for small and rural superintendents to open their conference. https://youtu.be/CVLvZn_GHsI?si=Mme_kFrIkxhl0MLT #WolverinesLead #PoweredByPurpose
