Environmental science students cleared organic debris this morning to make room for new plant growth in the Court St. bioswale. The engineered bioswale collects storm water runoff, recharges groundwater supply, and also serves as wildlife habitat.

AGS Third Grade would like to thank the staff at the Arenac County Courthouse for inviting us to put on a Mock Trial. Students were able to learn how a court proceeding works and get to know K9 Jagger. This was an incredible learning opportunity! Thank you to Sunrise Market for the floats that added to the experience.
Mrs. Avram's kindergarten class has been busy learning all about animals! Students explored different habitats, animal needs, and how we can help care for animals in our community. They worked hard researching their favorite animals and created a research project to share what they learned.
To put our learning into action, we also completed a community service project by collecting donations for a local animal shelter. From food and toys to blankets and cleaning supplies, our students showed such kindness and generosity toward animals in need.
We are so proud of our little learners for combining research, compassion, and teamwork to make a difference in our community!
