The Au Gres-Sims High School Environmental Science Class Native Plant Sale is Tomorrow! Come join us to choose from over 10 different native Michigan plant species. In addition to the plant sale, we will also be planting native plants in the Court St. Bioswale. If you'd like to spend some time getting your hands in the soil and protecting our Great Lakes join us May 22nd from 8:30 am-2:00 pm at the school greenhouse. Parking is available on Michigan Ave. Look for the plant sale sign!

The 4th Annual Au Gres-Sims High School Environmental Science Class Native Plant Sale is almost here! This year we will be selling our native plants from inside the school greenhouse located on Michigan Ave. The plant sale will take place on Friday May 22nd from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Your support helps to fund student research projects, flood mitigation efforts, wildlife habitat, and stormwater runoff management to keep our waterways clean and safe. The sale is open to the public. Please park on Michigan Ave. and walk into the greenhouse for the sale.

Environmental science students cleared organic debris this morning to make room for new plant growth in the Court St. bioswale. The engineered bioswale collects storm water runoff, recharges groundwater supply, and also serves as wildlife habitat.
