Tomorrow Picture Retake Day
How would the proposed sinking fund work?

Money would be collected over time and kept separate from the district’s regular operating budget. Eligible projects would be completed gradually as funds become available.

The ballot language allows the fund to pay for eligible projects involving:

• School buildings
• Security
• Technology
• Student transportation
• Other purposes allowed by law

At the proposed rate, a property with a taxable value of $50,000 would have an estimated cost of $59 per year.

Find the ballot language, cost calculator, project list, and FAQ at www.ags-schools.org/page/2026-sinking-fund

Questions may be directed to Superintendent Chris Ming at mingc@ags-schools.org or (989) 876-7150.

Square maroon, gold, and cream infographic with the capital projects tree logo. It explains that the sinking fund would use a pay-as-you-go approach, remain separate from regular operating dollars, and complete projects over time. Icons identify buildings, security, technology, and transportation as eligible-use categories. A cost example shows $59 per year on $50,000 of taxable value. A paid-for footer appears at the bottom.
