Congratulations AGS testing incentive achievers!

Some of our middle and high schoolers had the opportunity to enjoy a picnic out side today. Way to go students.

The seniors got to enjoy one of their last school lunches. We hope they enjoyed it.

Don't let this be your child on the last day of school. Remind your student now to start cleaning out their locker! 😂 Ten more days!

Great night @ Dow Diamond #Alldayeveryday

Great news! Au Gres-Sims School District has officially achieved Michigan Green Schools status, "For Outstanding Performance and Lasting Contribution to Conservation and Preservation of the Environment". A few examples of these efforts are the Court St. Bioswale and campus rain garden, which capture and remove stormwater pollutants before draining into the Au Gres River, our greenhouse where we are currently growing nine species of native Michigan plants, and our solar panel array which provides renewable energy to power our school.

Congratulations AGS on achieving Michigan Green School status!

Check out these beautiful examples of Lanceleaf Coreopsis, also known as tickseed. Their seeds look exactly like ticks, but their flowers are beautiful and bright yellow like a daisy. This is one of nine different species of native Michigan plants that our environmental science class is growing in our school greenhouse. We will be selling our plants at the Au Gres Farm Market on June 3rd from 8am-1pm. Students will be there to answer all of your questions about the benefits of using native plants as landscaping, and how they can be used to manage stormwater runoff pollutants. The countdown is on! 🎉

Tickets for tonights Baseball game @ Dow Diamond will be available at the game . Tickets are $10 and please have cash . #Alldayeveryday
