It's fun to watch how different groups of students choose what the are going to have. One group chose the Chinese Chicken and the other group chose the Bosco cheese sticks.
Mixed berry smoothies were a hit this morning. We always have a lot to choose from for our breakfast choices.
Today we had Jicama (pronounced HEE-kuh-muh) This is a root vegetable. It taste like an apple but not as sweet.
Our taste test today was banana split parfaits. And our new breakfast item was bagel pizza. Another day of national school breakfast week is in the books. What else do we have to offer for the week?Just tune in to see.
This morning had environmental science students seeing green. Fifteen days after sowing the first round of native Michigan plant seeds, we observed the first seedlings emerge from the soil today!

📚 Ms. Heather is one of our paraprofessionals here at AGS! She works with kindergarten, first, and third grade students.
💡What Ms. Heather loves most about her job is her special bonds with the kids and being able to make a difference in their day.
😎 Ms. Heather's fun fact is that she married her high school sweetheart and she went to Au Gres rival school (Arenac Eastern) .
🎨 Hobbies & Interests: She loves hanging out with friends, watching football, art, volleyball, and organizing. She loves summer but her favorite holiday is Christmas. She loves to travel with her family.

Have you ever had a pine berry before? Our kiddos got a chance to try them. Thanks to Sunrise Market our local IGA for ordering them for us.
They definitely like spaghetti day and it's been a while since we had pizza crunchers for the kids.
What's new for breakfast today? We had breakfast tacos and our sample item for today was a s'mores parfait. Remember to Clue in to school breakfast.

Fridays fresh veggie was cabbage, so we made coleslaw out of it. Did you see we even got some thumbs up 👍 with this one.

March is Reading Month is in full swing. Please ask your elementary child about their goal for the week. This year's theme is reading is our favorite sport. Today we had our kick off assembly. A special thank you to Barb Raymond for donating her published book to our school library.
