The last day before Christmas Break had to be donut day and hot chocolate. Oh yummy.
Wednesday we had our Christmas Dinner which they got to choose from chicken or meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and of course dessert.
We had the kids favorites for breakfast this week. This one featured fruit pizza with an oatmeal crust, and yogurt and cream cheese filling and don't forget all the delicious fruit 🍓
Ever wonder why astronauts and fighter pilots have to wear pressurized suits, or what causes your lungs to fill with air automatically? Chemistry students used Boyle's Law to find that decreasing pressure allows gases like air to expand and increasing pressure decreases the volume of gas. When air (pressure) is removed from this vacuum chamber the air inside the balloon expands and this is exactly how our lungs inflate too, through negative pressure, pretty cool!

Saturday Tawas is having a Co-op day for their hockey game in Tawas. Any AGS student that attends will be let in free as long as you show your student ID . Game starts @ 1 #Alldayeveryday
The 1st graders played an ornament matching game today! They each wrote 3 clues describing an ornament from home and their classmates tried to guess which one was theirs. 🎄

The holiday spirit was in full swing today as Mrs. Steinbauer and Mrs. Rezler made their rounds on the Polar Express trolley, delivering hot cocoa and cookies to our amazing staff.

For the holiday season, Mrs. Avram's Kindergartners planted candy cane seeds, watched them grow, and harvested them to enjoy while having hot chocolate in "real" coffee cups! 🥰🎄
