What better way to kick off spring break than with some friendly competition? Our awesome students from elementary to high school got together bright and early yesterday morning for a 3v3 basketball tournament on the first day of their break!
Teams were ready to hustle, showing off their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while having an absolute blast. Whether they were sinking 3-pointers or making sweet passes, everyone brought their A-game!
It was the perfect way to combine fun, fitness, and spring break vibes! 🙌

📚Mrs. Anthony is our high school special education teacher.
💡What Mrs. Anthony loves most about her job here at AGS is she loves the team of staff that she works with and enjoys creating "school" for students that extends beyond academics.
😎 Her fun fact is she once held the 3-point basketball records at her High School (most in a game, most in a season, and highest percentage). Her coach would yell at her when she got inside of the 3-point line because she shot better out of it.
🎨 Hobbies & Interests: sing, play guitar, lead worship at church, journal, scrapbook, and travel.

📚Mrs. Cardinal is our K-12 Counselor. She works with any of our students in the building who need assistance.
💡What Mrs. Cardinal loves most about her job is being with the kids and allowing them a safe place to talk and learn.
😎 Her fun fact is that she cannot hide if she has wet bare feet because her left foot only shows four toe prints... that made it hard to get away with things at home when she was a kid.
🎨 Hobbies & Interests: swim, fish, play softball and basketball, watch all sports, and hangout with her girls.

We tried kale today for our snack. We served it with orange vinaigrette dressing, with cranberries and mandarin oranges. It was really good, one of the kids said even Gordon Ramsey would approve.
All of our hamburgers were so happy today look at all of those smiles 😁. I guess the kids were too.
After 30 years of service in education to AGS, Principal Chad Zeien is retiring at the end of school year. We thank him for his service and look to start a new chapter in 2025-26. Please help spread the interest in our BUILDING PRINCIPAL vacancy. #WolverinesLead

📚Mrs. Hewitt works with our elementary students. She works with our Kindergarteners through 5th grade students in small groups for reading intervention.
