Spaghetti was the hot item of the day. The kids sure like their spaghetti 🍝.

So what do you think we had today? We had persimmons. The question of the day was out of 100 persimmons cut why did only 1 have a seed? Mr Bartletts class came up with they are a self pollinated plant.

Pizza was what we had for lunch on Friday. I think it was a win for this class!

River got to sit in Mrs. Avram's teacher chair today as a reward for PAWS. She was a positively awesome Wolverine student. Way to go!

Starting the New Year off right by having a good lunch.

Mrs. Avram's kindergarteners enjoyed fairytales written and illustrated by some of Mrs. Olar's 9/10 grade ELA students this week! Both classes have been learning about this genre and enjoyed every moment!!

Apologies for the late notice, but due to an unexpected bus driver illness we must cancel the afternoon run for Bus Route #3 (Cathy Bailey) for Friday, January 3, 2025. #WolverinesLead

That is it for 2024 happy faces and full tummies. Can't wait to see what 2025 brings.

The last day before Christmas Break had to be donut day and hot chocolate. Oh yummy.

Wednesday we had our Christmas Dinner which they got to choose from chicken or meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and of course dessert.

We had the kids favorites for breakfast this week. This one featured fruit pizza with an oatmeal crust, and yogurt and cream cheese filling and don't forget all the delicious fruit 🍓

Ever wonder why astronauts and fighter pilots have to wear pressurized suits, or what causes your lungs to fill with air automatically? Chemistry students used Boyle's Law to find that decreasing pressure allows gases like air to expand and increasing pressure decreases the volume of gas. When air (pressure) is removed from this vacuum chamber the air inside the balloon expands and this is exactly how our lungs inflate too, through negative pressure, pretty cool!

The snow is flying and Winter Break is almost here. The Wolverine Wake-Up Crew has been checking our list twice to put together this week's special edition episode. From everyone at The Wolverine Wake-Up Studio, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season. Be sure to check out this week's special edition issue to start your "holidaytivities".
