Environmental science students tested the efficiency of their bridge models. The highest performing bridge was able to hold over 9000 grams while the bridge itself had a mass of 23 grams. In other words, this would be equivalent to an apple slice having a 20 pound weight hanging from it, and the apple slice wouldn't break!

A huge thank you to our freshmen class (and some upperclassmen DJs) for throwing such a radical 80s glow dance for our middle school students. They had a great time and came up with some gnarly outfits.

We were able to try kumquats today the expressions on their faces were priceless. They might be just a little sour but those darn things are addicting.
