Environmental science students prepared native Michigan plant seeds using artificial stratification to simulate winter conditions. Through the use of a refrigerator, we can simulate winter and speed up the process, allowing students to start growing plants in our greenhouse during winter, instead of waiting for Spring.

Congratulations to environmental science students as their film submission to the Thunder Bay International Film Festival Student Film Competition has been accepted.
