Growing season has officially begun! Environmental science students planted our first native Michigan plant seeds in our greenhouse this week. This year we have collected seeds from 14 different species of native Michigan plants that students will be growing. While the rest of the elementary school celebrated the 100th day of this school year, 5th graders celebrated their 1,000th day of elementary school! They started the day with math games that had a theme of 1,000.

In 5th grade science, students have been testing like alchemists to clean tarnished pennies and then transform ordinary objects by coating them in copper particles.
