Congratulations to Wayne Freeman and Elena Wiltse as they accepted awards last night at the Arenac Conservation District Annual Meeting. They both placed 1st in their divisions as District winners in the poster contest. Elena also placed 2nd at the state level, and Wayne placed 3rd at the state level! I was also honored to place 1st in the adult division for the photography contest. Go Wolverines! #conservation #environmentalstewardship

Growing season has officially begun! Environmental science students planted our first native Michigan plant seeds in our greenhouse this week. This year we have collected seeds from 14 different species of native Michigan plants that students will be growing. They will also conduct independent research projects with the plants. #3-PLearning #greeninfrastructure #research #PBSE

Happy Valentine's Day from Au and Gres and the kitchen staff. They are giving their hearts to everyone, because it's time for them to go home.

Au and Gres are getting ready to go home. Just one more day here, so they wanted to let the kids know that they got hooked on them.
