📚Mrs. Ming is our middle school ELA teacher!
💡Mrs. Ming loves her job at AGS because of the camaraderie amongst her colleagues and because middle schoolers are the perfect combination of chaotic energy and endless curiosity—they keep her on her toes, make her laugh, and remind her that learning should always be an adventure.
😎 Her fun fact is that she taught in the Republic of South Africa many moons ago.
🎨 Hobbies & Interests: Currently, her hobbies are cheering on her children at their sporting events.

📚Mrs. Wilk is one of our 5th-grade teachers. She teaches our 5th-grade students ELA and Social Studies.

😎 Her fun fact is that she worked in healthcare as a Physical Therapist Assistant before becoming a teacher full time.

Well, today was the ever popular chicken sandwich and then we had beef and broccoli 🥦. Oh so good.
Went to the Gordon Food Show to get some new cool food ideas for the kids. Keep a look out to see what I came up with.
Today we learned that a raspberry is not really a berry, who knew.
Those happy smiles make me fell so good. I think they are excited about lunch.
Sporty Family Game Night was a success! Thank you families for coming and spending the evening with us.

The Au Gres-Sims High School National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held this Sunday, March 23rd at 6:00 PM in the Cyber Cafe' for all current and new inductees. Please bring a dish/appetizer to pass. NHS members-be there by 5:00 PM.

It's March is reading month, and you never know who might pop in to read! Mrs. Avram's kindergartens were very happy to have Mr. Ming come read a beautiful legend about Mackinac Island today!
The 1st graders finished their nonfiction books this week! Here is a sample of some of their pages. The books included a cover page, table of contents, chapters, a diagram, and a caption page!

Teachers did a teacher swap and read for March Is Reading Month today! Sometimes it's fun to read to other classrooms full of kids!
Lots of shenanigans for Mrs. Avram's kindergarten leprechauns today! A scavenger hunt in the library and graphing the "Lucky" cereal to name a few! 🍀🌈
Today was spinach salad with strawberries. I think they enjoyed the strawberries more than the spinach, but I'll take it as a win because they were so excited.
