January PAWS movie afternoon for the Elementary. ❄️

It was Nacho, Nacho, Nacho Day. This is one of the kids favorite.

Today was American dinner day we had salisbury steak mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner roll and a variety of veggies.

We were able to try fingerling potatoes 🥔 for our afternoon snack. Did you know that they come in different colors, like purple, red, and white? Yummy they were so good.

Our fresh fruit was a Sweetango apple they described it as a sweet and tangy with a crunchy texture and hints of fall spices. I don't know but the kids enjoy their apples.

We had something new today, stuffed shells with marinara sauce.

A friendly wager on a football game over the weekend resulted in recruiting a new Chiefs fan! I'm so proud of him! He was a bit reluctant at first, but I'm sure he is happy with his choice!

We got to feel it, hold it, and best of all taste it. What was it... pineapple 🍍 oh wait we even sang about it too. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea....

Who doesn't like sub day we get chips, chicken noodle soup, and cherry emoji slushies.

So what is that you ask? Watermelon radishes, the kids were able to try them raw and pickled. It was fun to see their reactions, some liked them pickled and some enjoyed them raw.

We are enjoying lunch today. Bosco Sticks was the #1 item of the day, but those who chose the cherry blossom chicken were not disappointed.

It's a little chaotic today after two days off but Mrs. Swaid's Kindergarten is sure working hard on their underhand tossing skills!
