We are enjoying the SNOW!! ❄️

7th graders got to walk the number line to model adding integers. One students journey even ended in the hallway. We learned that for adding we face "up" the number line, positive values mean we move forward whereas negatives we move backward.

Ever wonder what the "cool kids" are saying? This week we interviewed our own Editor-in-Chief to find out if he's cool. We quizzed him on Gen Z slang, and you'll be shocked at what we found out No Cap. Watch this week's episode to find out if he could Flex. Follow the link to watch The Wolverine Wake-Up Issue 124:

So what did we have for lunch today you ask? We had the ever popular chicken sandwich or they were able to try our new Chicken Yokasobia Noodles.

With all the inside recess and cold we have had, Mrs. Avram's kindergarten class decided to see if "huddling" would keep them warm so they could get outside for a bit! They have been learning about penguins and how the baby chicks huddle to keep warm while their parents are away! They kept warm and enjoyed lots of laughs taking turns being in the middle! ❄️🐧🥰

How about a muffin top, we had chocolate chocolate chip, oreo, strawberry cheesecake, mixed berry, banana chocolate chip and blueberry. Where was my helper Sims.

They loved the mini cucumbers.

We had meatballs over noodles or cheeseburgrs for lunch today. What would you like.

Come on AGS, help support our Detroit Lions in their NFL Playoff game!

What a better way to warm up on a cold winter day is with toasted grill cheese and a steaming bowl of tomato soup 🍲 yummy.

7th grade played some integer football 🏈 in Ms. Rinn's today to *kickoff* their unit on integer operations!

We really like our mac and cheese but the pulled pork was also good too!

They loved the fresh strawberries. Some said it taste like summer, what a great feeling after the weather we had yesterday and today. Sorry still no StarFruit, we'll keep trying.

Mrs. Avram's Kindergartens snuggled up with great books on this cold winter day ❄️📚

Did you know that a handful of students obtain rosters, do computer-based design, and then see badges come to life with materials? The skills learned in locker badge creation are life-long!

"Snowy Day" seems to be the theme of this winter Monday! Mrs. Swaid's kindergarten enjoyed reading about Peter's adventures in the snow. We even got to make Peter as an art project! ❄️ #brr #snowyday # kindergartenrocks
