Hello AGS Families!! Here are the January 2021 Menus!! Both Campus and Virtual Menus!!!

Thank you Kelly and Dan Moore for donating the large chocolate bar to be used as a prize for the elementary. Each teacher nominated five hard working students to be put in the drawing for the chocolate bar. The winner is Isaac Card from Mrs. Bartels Fourth Grade.

My fifth graders have many Christmas wishes! Some of my favorites include: for COVID-19 to go bye bye forever, an Advent calendar, a border collie, to make people happier, a card for the ones I love, and for the Vikings to win the Superbowl! Ho! Ho! Ho! Go! Go! Go! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Room 119! #AGSDailyShare #AGSInThisTogether #WolverinesLead

The fifth graders took a virtual trip to the Michigan Supreme Court Learning Center and learned about the Judicial Branch. Trial courts hear over 3,000,000 cases per year, but less than 100 make it to the State Supreme Court. As your case moves up, more judges make decisions on your behalf from 1, to 3, to 7. The U.S. Supreme Court has 9 justices. The students happily recognized the places they visited last year! #AGSDailyShare #AGSInThisTogether #WolverinesLead
How To books are complete! These 1st graders worked so hard writing an introduction, a materials page, 4 steps, and an authors page!

The 1st graders wrote clues describing their ornaments. Today we got to read our clues and guess which ornament belonged to each of them!
