GSRP Preschool enjoyed a beautiful day Leaman's Green Apple Barn! We learned how apples grow, picked an apple then made fresh cider with an old press! The playground and the wagon ride were the most fun, but the delicious donuts and cider were amazing!

Wednesday Oct. 7th is Count Day! Please be sure your student is in attendance all day for this very important day.
Today we had an assembly for all of our students to discuss the importance of being in school everyday. Students in attendance at the assembly earned a ticket to be in a drawing for prizes on count day. Students must be present to win. We also have a video to share about excused vs unexcused absences. You can watch that here: Excused vs Unexcused Absences

What projects are currently at the top of the district’s priority list?
The first three are:
1. Roof replacement 2. School bus purchase 3. Security cameras
These projects address building protection, student transportation, and school security.
A sinking fund would not provide all of the money at once. Eligible projects would be scheduled over time as funds become available.
Questions may be directed to Superintendent Chris Ming at mingc@ags-schools.org or (989) 876-7150.
