NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to section 943 of the Revised School Code, MCL 380.943, the superintendent of public instruction is scheduling and causing to be held a public hearing concerning the division of Arenac Eastern School District by transfer and annexation of Arenac Eastern School District property and territory lying west of M-65 to Standish-Sterling Community Schools and transfer and annexation of Arenac Eastern School District property and territory lying east of M-65 to Au Gres-Sims School District.
Copies of the resolutions of Arenac Eastern School District, Standish-Sterling Community Schools, and Au Gres-Sims School District approving the division by annexation and transfer will be available at the hearing and are available online at https://www.arenaceastern.org/.
The hearing will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, in the Middle School/High School Library at Arenac Eastern School, 200 Smalley St., Twining, MI, 48766.
